Main missions
Stilla is hiring an Assistant Scientist/Assistant Engineer in Molecular Biology.
The workload will be equally divided (50:50) between R&D tasks (conducting experiments directly related to the advancement of R&D projects) and routine tasks related to lab management (ordering, validating stocks, putting in place new validation protocols, etc).
The principle missions of the Assistant Scientist/Assistant Engineer in Molecular Biology are to :

• Carry out and ensure the completion of diverse priority R&D experiments as defined by the R&D program.
• Interface with the R&D teams (Software and Hardware) to carry out R&D experiments aimed at resolving R&D issues and validating material.
• Document and ensure the traceability of all performed experiments and their results.
• Assure and maintain all orders and consumable stocks for the molecular biology R&D team, organize and validate molecular biology lab stocks and instruments, document all purchases and ensure lab supply logs.
• Contribute to improving, writing and maintaining updated molecular biology lab protocols.

Skills we are looking for
• Has a BTS/License specializing in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or related disciplines
• Has at least 2 years of proven experience in Molecular Biology, particularly in the following techniques: qPCR, DNA and RNA manipulation
• Must be adaptable, organized and rigorous
• Enjoys working in a team and sharing information and knowledge
• Skilled at multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be fluent in French and technical English

PhD and master diploms are over-qualified for this position and candidatures will not be considered
