We are a small team of Scrum Masters and are driven by the desire always to move forward. So, to expand our ranks, we are looking for another enthusiast who has already gained some life experience, is willing to share expertise, and isn’t afraid to say out loud what’s going through his/her head. We are currently undergoing a significant organisational change. An independent organisation, Yunex Traffic – a leader in innovative and intelligent traffic solutions – is being carved out of the large international corporation Siemens. In brief, we are looking for someone who will help us cope more easily with this enormous change. What does Brno R&D look like? Our everyday life revolves around cars, intersections, smart cities and technical solutions. We develop solutions for traffic control for a new generation of smart cities. Our Brno team consists of approximately 80 developers, testers and traffic engineers. In addition, we collaborate with colleagues from Germany, the United States, England, and India. We like to meet outside work a lot; we do sports, have a beer and travel together (when it is allowed). What will be your mission in our company? You will be working with one or two teams in Brno R&D (one team contains approximately six persons) and the product owner. You will be part of the local SM group in charge of the development of the Brno department. You will also participate in our international SM community, seeking to apply agile methods together to move our organisation forward. Our teams are onsite as well as remote – you will be collaborating with colleagues from Germany, the United States and India. Our teams work in scrum and Kanban – it is always important to find the right form for a given team. It is not about “having studied” scrum; it is more critical to understand agile principles, identify with them, and be able to explain and implement them. Last but not least, you will be experimenting – trying new things with the teams that will move them forward. How do we imagine you? You know various agile methodologies. You have a “black belt” in soft skills. You have an overview of scaling and are not afraid to use it in practice. You know when it is more suitable to use mentoring and when to coach the entire team. You know how to facilitate team meetings to the satisfaction of all the participants. You continue to work on yourself and follow current trends in the field of agility. You are not afraid to experiment, and you see failure as an opportunity for further development. Step by step, you can improve not only your team but also the entire company.
