We are an R&D centre situated in Prague and our task is to develop new generation devices for railway traffic control. The topic of railway line modernisation resonates throughout the world and we can offer modern digital solutions such as a distributed network of railway control modules, on-board train equipment, and a completely new railway crossing concept. What does our R&D look like? Our Prague department includes more than a hundred developers, testers, and other experts. We develop SW and HW products, which we take full responsibility for. We manage and implement the complete product development cycle – from architectural concepts to final validation and launch of serial manufacture. What will your future working team look like? You will be organised under the quality department in Prague, but you and a couple of your colleagues from Prague will work on German projects. You will need to communicate every day with German colleagues in German, as well as understand written texts and spoken conversations in English. Collaboration will take place remotely but business trips for several weeks or months for training purposes are possible (conditions permitting). Be prepared to not be bored for a single minute. All projects are time limited, so correct setting of priorities is important, as nobody should notice that you are behind schedule. Every day is different - participating in project meetings, creating, reviewing, and updating project documentation, coordinating project activities within the internal GUIDE process to meet the requirements of railway standards, as well as managing the tools used. What do you need to become a team member? Higher education (engineering subjects are an advantage) At least two years of previous experience in quality control or project management Very good German and English (meetings, everyday communication, documentation production) Focus on detail, diligence, responsibility, and reliability Ability to define priorities What will you work on? Support for the project team from a quality point of view Assurance of product development in compliance with applicable standards and internal processes Preparation of quality assurance-related documents Participation in revisions and approvals of project documentation Administration of the tools used (SAP, Doors, etc.) What do we offer you?
