Training
Every new recruit is paired with a buddy to help them navigate the Shipfix system in the first few weeks, months. It's the role of the buddy to help new recruit to navigate the matrix of our organisation, to help them think strategically when problem solving, to shed light on cultural norms. We run impactful annual performance and 360° reviews that helps us build an open, value-oriented feedback culture We have also implemented a system of live feedback and public praises to celebrate wins and recognise the great work of colleagues

We like to meet as regularly as possible. COVID made it difficult to organise offsite with the entire staff but we're doing our best to organise quarterly socials, all paid by Shipfix.
For example, with the tech team we host a 3 days dev sessions every 3 months in an Airbnb with: A chef preparing every meals, Group workouts, relaxing times, piscine and hammam, Workshops, presentations, brainstorming on tech challenges or focus on specific themes, Group experience such as VR esports with EVA (eva.gg)
