About the Opportunity
As an experienced Senior Associate Scientist in human immunology, you will participate in designing, optimizing, and executing exploratory assays for Phase 1 and Phase 4 clinical studies supporting mRNA vaccine research and development.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Biomarker Research unit in the mRNA Center of Excellence is building a world-class translational research team and is seeking highly motivated Senior Associate Scientist interested in exploratory assays to assess the immunogenicity, reactogenicity, and MoAs of mRNA vaccines in Phase 1 and Phase 4 clinical trials.
The candidate should have a strong foundation in immunology and vaccinology as well as significant working experience with standard immunological laboratory techniques, such as cytometry, multiplexing technologies to quantify cytokines and antibodies, ELISAs, ELISPOT, cell freezing/thawing. The successful candidate will have the ability to learn and innovate immunological assay techniques and methodologies. The candidate will be expected to create experimental plans, implement in vitro assays, perform assays, as well as prepare reports and present results.
The candidate should remain up to date on the relevant scientific literature related to clinical exploratory immunology.
The candidate will be ready to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment that rewards personal initiative, collaboration, and scientific excellence.
