As a Data Strategist, you will help drive the Data & AI practice and play a critical role consulting clients in applying data as a core asset for their business success. Further, you will assist in the project delivery of digital transformation projects, ultimately improving customer understanding and helping to drive our client’s growth. As an evangelist for data & analytics as key driver of digital transformation, you will partner with colleagues in various divisions, industries and geographies. Thereby, you ensure that more and more solutions we bring to the market are enabled by a strong data-driven thinking, whilst helping to identify new business opportunities and account growth.
What sort of projects will you be at the heart of?
Core areas of focus for this group is the consulting on strategies, development and implementation for data, analytics & AI initiatives as part of major digital transformation programs
Projects in the wider practice include (but are not limited to) applications of customer analytics, like segmentations, behavior analysis, recommender systems and applying insights to help create personalized customer experiences as well as digital products and services
Key Responsibilities
You’ll consult clients and project teams in the strategic use of data and the identification of new business opportunities leveraging state-of-the art analytics & AI to address key customer & enterprise needs and enable digital business transformation
You’ll assess our clients’ data & analytics capabilities and accompany them on their journey towards a greater data maturity, while identifying and accompanying the implementation of value-driving use cases & data products, focusing on, but not limited to, customer data (incl. vehicle data, product data, POS data etc.)
You’ll work in cross-functional teams, together with Data Scientists, AI/Data Engineers, Product owners, UI/UX designers & more and support the communication between business and technological stakeholders to drive strategic data products & solutions in national & international engagements
You‘ll consult on improving data & analytics systems & processes (CRM, DMP, activation systems, Analytics environments & more), from innovation to platform development to cultural changes and governance, be it through custom approaches (leveraging open-source tech f.ex.) or standardized methods and software
You’ll identify, develop, evaluate and prioritize use cases and sequence data related activities in roadmaps
Research and evaluate open-source and vendor solutions to guide our overall data and solutions and strategies
Be a subject matter experts on customer data platforms, the use of unique ID, consent management, privacy, marketing and activation
Job Requirements
Several years of professional experience in the field of Data & Analytics consulting / data strategy, in a renowned consultancy, agency or on the client side
Experience in working in cross-functional teams and managing various stakeholders (business, IT, operations, design etc.) to understand business needs, identify value propositions for data assetization, data usage, data products & analytics solutions
Experience in implementing data-driven decision-making processes and understanding their business impact using quantitative and analytical skills, combined with an ability to interpret business challenges from non-technical individuals and translate them into data requirements and strategic recommendations
Knowledge of the practical application of Analytics, Business Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence, as well as the implementation of processes for data governance (data quality, privacy, data catalog etc.)
Experience with Customer Data Platforms (Adobe, Salesforce or hybrid), respective tools (ETL, Processing, marketing automation etc.) and data (management) platforms (ideally cloud)
Assist with developing and measuring A/B and multivariate test results in collaboration with cross functional teams
Knowledge of web/app tracking solutions (e.g. Adobe/Google Analytics), data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, QlikSense, Tableau) and/or ML, statistics or empirical economics
Experience in data-driven marketing campaign development, measurement, and optimization
A strong quantitative background, f.ex. in Business Informatics, Business Science, Informatics, Computer Science, Economics (with some technical experience)
Agile project management and/or product owner experience, ideally with collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence), working in a client-facing role (f.ex. as product owner)
Sales experience in a consulting context (proposals, pitches, solutioning) and excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and presentation skills
Fluent in French (verbal and written, business environment, complex concepts) as well as English
Experience having worked in cross-cultural and cross-disciplinary project teams
Nice to have
Programming languages like Python, R, SQL and relational data modeling
Understanding of digital data like cookies, identities, deviceIDs, jQuery etc
