About the position:
In this position, you are responsible for developing the fast-growing B2B Retail activity of Palais des Thés in North America and executing the strategy to meet our ambitious sales and financial goals. You will split your time between account management and the active search of new retail clients. You will work closely with the Country Director, HQ in France (Paris) as well as the marketing and operations teams both in the US and in France. In this position, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in all sales development and management aspects of a growing, international company.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
Customer relationship and development (existing customers):

  • Develop and maintain effective client rapport for mutually beneficial business relationship.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service, identify client needs and effectively communicate operational progress.
  • Lead point-of-sales initiatives (e.g. new product introductions, trainings, events etc.)
  • Set-up and manage online product listings and make continuous improvements
  • Manage Amazon Store-front product listings and sales efforts

B2B Sales (new accounts acquisition):

  • Prospect new accounts
  • Track your own sales pipeline and create new sales leads and contacts
  • Lead preparation of creative and eye-catching proposals
  • Lead sales meetings (and tea trainings as need be)
  • Make merchandising recommendations when needed

Operational/ Strategic:

  • Work with supply team to ensure on-time deliveries and logistical requirement are met for large orders
  • Escalate electronic data transmission issues when they arise
  • Collaborate with supply team for inventory forecasts for b2b retail needs
  • Provides support in developing sales strategies and sales forecasts

Požadavky na pozici

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree minimum
  • 1-2 years experience in retail or corporate sales (including internships)
  • 1-2 yrs experience in online sales, managing online listings (i.e., Amazon, marketplaces) preferred
  • Strong written/oral communication and presentation skills with the ability to listen and adapt to different audiences
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Superior time management and ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proven track record of growing existing accounts and exceeding customer expectations
  • Experience in small scale office or startup environment
