About the team 🦸

As part of the Core Insurance platform, your role will be at the heart to transform insurance from an industry perceived as a necessary evil to a service that truly protects and continuously delivers customer value. Insurance is always considered as a platform where you have to connect a lot of insurance partners (Risk carriers, assistance providers, claims administrators, contact centers, motor workshops network, expert network), also interconnect a lot of services together (insurance software, payment, e-signature, CRM, Marketing, document management, anti-fraud, accounting, number plates verification …) and exchange a lot of data (policy portfolio, policy coverage, claims status …) . Benefiting from the young age of the Ornikar Insurance business unit and state-of-the-art Tech teams, integrations between all systems were / are being / will be made in a modern and thus simple way (standard APIs, mainly event-driven architecture). As the integration product manager, your role will be to first understand and then manage this overall ecosystem as a product.

The role missions are to:

  • Ensure this whole ecosystem runs smoothly & continuously adapt towards the new business needs coming from customers, operational teams or insurance partners
  • As Insurance is very data-driven and as a lot of those integrations turn around data exchange, define the overall data needs (for insurance partners and for operational teams) to be implemented by data engineers and data analysts
  • You will work:

  • In the Core Insurance Platform tribe in charge of delivering all the Insurance processes within its whole ecosystem (insurance partners, assistance providers, motor workshops, expert networks …)
  • Within the Integration Product team, led by the Lead Integration Product Manager, alongside of technical service managers, CRM product and core insurance product

    We are looking for you if you are obsessed with delivering value to our users, by articulating complex problems and driving the outcome and if you are excited about building the next-gen auto insurance solutions that will help millions of people around the world.

    We are especially looking for you if you can comprehensively address a complex ecosystem in a very collaborative working environment with pragmatic automated processes and solutions towards the customers and the operational teams.

    With the team above described, you will manage the product lifecycle: discovery, roadmapping, scoping and design, delivery, continuous monitoring and improvement. You'll be joining a group of experienced Product Managers to create the best-in-class user experience to help Ornikar skyrocket locally and internationally.

    We expect business proficiency in both French and English.

    What you will do 🛠

    Product discovery

  • Understand the pain points and needs of users through qualitative studies (surveys, interviews, user journey mapping) and quantitative data.
  • Work in collaboration with product and business teams to define areas for improvement.
  • Analyze product metrics to understand what drives usage and performance.When designing new features, develop and iterate the best options with wireframes and prototypes.
  • Product planning

  • Defining your product roadmap with your main stakeholders: create, maintain and deliver a list of prioritized features and business enablers in order to impact our company-wide strategic objectives and continuously improve our user experience.
  • You will be the main counterpart for multiple stakeholders, you’ll co-construct with them and synchronize your product around the global platform roadmap.
  • Product delivery

  • Your rigor will allow you to guide your squad in the most efficient way possible: writing detailed specifications and framing, being as efficient as possible on defining our user stories and evaluating different evolution requests.
  • Thanks to your ownership, you know how to adjust priorities if necessary, communicate, work closely with engineers to ensure our quality standards and respect our commitments.
