We are building and transforming software applications for a broad range of clients in the public and private sectors and right now we are looking for Application Managers with a great passion for working with complex custom-built systems. 

You will join our Custom Application Development team

Together with your team you have the full responsibility for adding new functionality and features to new and existing systems within our portfolio. We have long-term agreements with our customers, which gives you the opportunity to develop the systems over a longer period of time based on a deep understanding of the customers business needs.

Your responsibilities as Application Manager

As our new Application Manager, you will be one of the key persons in setting the strategic direction and ensuring the future growth NNIT’s IT public and private customers. You will act as product owner and coordinate, plan and prioritize tasks relating to service improvement, new releases, customer projects, operations, and support.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that the service is delivered according to agreed service level agreements, being commercially responsible for the daily operations
  • Ensuring the service performs financially and implementing means to optimize
  • Building and maintaining strong cross-functional relationships internally
  • Plan, prioritize and ensure implementation of the product roadmap
  • Status meetings with customers and the service team
  • Collaborate with other Application, Change, Project managers and run projects as well when required
  • You will be supported by a team with skilled and dedicated specialist who are passionate about delivering quality services to our customers.

We work in global project teams with colleagues from Denmark, the Czech Republic and the Philippines, so intercultural work experience is an advantage in order to proactively handle the intercultural differences and further develop the team.  

Your qualifications and experience  

  • +2 years of successful experience in a similar role within IT services or a strong ITIL background
  • Experience from a customer-facing and coordinating role with a commercial mindset
  • IT project management with a proven track record of delivering agile engagements
  • You like to apply structure and you can work with many deadlines and sometimes changing customer priorities
  • You thrive in a busy environment working with various stakeholders both internally and externally

You communicate with our international colleagues as well as our Danish customers. Therefore, it is important that you have good English skills in both speech and writing.
