Our team has been growing fast and our ambitions are strong to conquer Europe. We want this growth to stay healthy and scalable and for this we need strong team leaders and middle managers who can drive those teams to thrive and succeed.

In this context your mission will be to support our Head of BDR in the scaling of a strong Business Development team by leading a team of BDRs yourself - according to the seniority, the number of BD managed may vary (between 2-6).

This is the opportunity to be the first Team Lead of the team, in a 100% managerial role where everything is still to be built.

Your day to day roles consist in

  • Driving performance: all BDRs must bring in at least 15 opportunities per month. This means helping them generate qualified pipelines on our different target markets.
  • Enabling the team for success: make your team progress on hardskills and BDR skills to increase their level and help them be confident in their role.
  • Managing ambitious people: recruit, develop and engage your team to achieve their personal objectives and those of Modjo
  • Implementing strategic projects for the sales team in its whole: continuous improvement and innovation on processes, knowledge and learning management, global coaching across the teams.
  • To succeed in this role at Modjo, we expect you to be

  • Loving the BDR job: you love the discovery part of the sales funnel. You value the BDR role and truly understand why it's a key role in a sales cycle. You don't just see this as a necessary step to reach Account Executive roles. You are really convinced this role is full of challenges and you want to go further.
  • A great coach: you love to drive a team to reach a common goal. You have a positive energy, are caring but are also capable of telling the hard truth. You are owner of your team's success and strive to coach, teach and lead by example.
  • Data-driven and straightforward: you know how to drive performance with KPIs - not just goodwill - and have the reflex to back ideas and problem solving using data. You have clear reasoning and are capable of engaging your team members and other stakeholders with strong and factual communication skills - not just intuition.
  • Your french level is native or fluent (C2) as this role consists in managing french team members. You also need to be at ease in an english-speaking environment as we have most of our company rituals in English.
