As Malt is growing and scaling we are looking for motivated individuals to join our Community team. Malt is a community of more than 300K freelancers in France : tech, project manager, support functions, product designers, marketing consultants, etc. The Community team's mission is to attract and activate most high value freelancers, engage them in the community, be responsible for their experience, and contribute to the growth of the company.

Our freelancers community can turn into our best ambassadors, and sales.

Being an intern at Malt means accompanying your manager in his daily actions thanks to real teamwork while becoming autonomous.

At the same time, you will be able to invest yourself in internal projects thanks to your strength of proposal!

If everything goes well, you will be able to continue the Malt adventure with a permanent contract directly after your internship !  

Key responsibilities ✨:

  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to define event strategy and other concepts to grow the community of freelancers on Malt
  • Assist in setting up networking events and other high-touch activities for freelancers
  • Creation and follow-up of retro plannings and showrunners when necessary
  • Work with potential vendors and external partners: coordination of various service providers, contract negotiation, goodies management, animation, search for locations and caterers…
  • Assist on events communication, hand-in-hand with the marketing team
  • Keep an eye on important events in the tech and freelancing ecosystem to develop partnerships with major players and organizations
  • Organize and hold online events
  • Help implementing and reporting KPIs for each of our events
  • Ensure that the work we do with our freelancers delivers strong value to freelancers while also growing our business.
  • About you 🧑‍🚀:

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program and looking for a six-month full time internship contract starting in January 2024
  • Sense of service and taste for interacting with the freelancers in our community
  • Web culture and ease with digital tools (e.g. graphic design tools, webinar platforms)
  • Able to show creativity and originality
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Already with experience in community building and/or event production (not mandatory)
  • A good level of English is essential to be able to communicate with an international team
  • You are fluent in French

  • First call with Aurélia (our Talent Acquisition Specialist), to better understand your background, aspirations and answer your questions (20 minutes)
  • Interview with Céline (our Senior Event Manager), to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (45-60 minutes)
  • Home assignment to prepare in order to evaluate your hard skills, to present to Fanny, our Community Business Partner
  • We will welcome you in our Parisian office in January 2024 !
