As Malt is scaling up fast, we are looking for motivated Account Managers for freelancers in charge of accompanying our most valuable or most promising freelance talents.

This role's mission is to help our freelancers be successful on Malt, be their North Star to support their journey, and add value to the talented independents that our clients are most interested in.

This team is the spearhead of our growth strategy towards our community of freelancers, and lays out the first steps of successful collaborations for these individuals.

Key responsibilities ✨

  • Operate as a dedicated agent for Malt most valuable talents, bringing a white glove service
  • Provide business insights, advice and recommendations (raising tech skills most requested by the client, daily rate)
  • Unlock the potential of our freelancers (find relevant projects for them, making sure they find their next project via Malt)
  • Be the point of contact for the top freelancers (Super Malter) and you address their request, with the help of the Customer Experience team when relevant
  • Own a portfolio of Freelancers: you’re responsible for its growth and success 
  • Run daily operations within targets (volumes & SLA)
  • Provide visibility and tracking to the team and the management on the performance of your portfolio
  • Via constant interactions with the freelancers, aggregate insightful internal reports that Community & Sales teams can leverage on to increase their understanding of the talent ecosystem
  • About you 🧑‍🚀

  • Business school degree or equivalent
  • You have a first experience in Account / Success Management or Recruitment in fast-paced environments
  • You are eager to identify, support and groom highly skilled freelancers and create impact for them, for our clients and for Malt 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Curious about tech industries, jobs and skill sets
  • You are a French speaker with fully professional English and comfortable in an international environment

  • Screening with Elisa, our Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, aspirations and answer your questions (30-45 minutes)
  • Interview with Charlotte, our Team Lead Freelance Success Manager and your potential manager, to discuss your experience and the role in more detail (45-60 minutes)
  • Home assignment to prepare and present to a panel in order to evaluate your hard skills (60 minutes)
  • Final interview with Perrine, Chief Community Officer, to discuss Malt’s long term vision (45-60 minutes)
