To achieve these ambitions, Lydia relies on highly technical and detail oriented teams who build a unique IT infrastructure across Europe, shipping new products every month used by millions of customers, and maintaining a banking infrastructure which processes billions of euros of transactions & credits every year.

Part of our growth strategy is centered around attracting top talent to help us nurture our ongoing success. We are now looking for a new Technical Product Manager (Credit).

Lydia is now turning in a digital bank and needs credit to support this transformation.

We have been distributing consumer credit products since 2018 with an impressive track record in terms of growth. Lydia is developing this activity and expand the product catalog with distributed loans from partners but also with credit issued by Lydia as we are getting an accreditation for this.

As technical product manager, you will lead a dedicated squad of developers to build and improve all the modules for an end to end credits factory: promoting, subscription, credit scoring, payment of the lended amount, debit of installments, management of defaulting loans, debt collection process, financial provisioning, etc.

Joining credit team at Lydia is a unique opportunity, to have a 360 vision from product to tech including regulatory and finance perspective, with a central position in an agile environment.

You will integrate the Technical Product Management & Operations team, reporting to VP Credit.

What you will do :

  • Be responsible for your product’s performances ;

  • Design all functional evolutions related to your product, to improve its performance (e.g., increase conversion, acceptance rate, reduce default, etc.) or to enlarge Lydia’s credit offering (e.g., larger amounts, additional use cases, etc.), while complying with regulatory constraints ;

  • Support technical teams in the development of these evolutions, and validate the output of their work ;

  • Manage the relationship with technical partners involved in your product ;

  • Design monitoring plans to track the performance of your product, and have them followed by Operations teams


  • Profile

    You are in the right place if :

  • You have 4 to 8 years of experience in the management of a technical product, with proven ability for technical conception and collaboration with technical teams ;

  • You show strong analytical, written communication and project management skills ;

  • And it’s a plus if :

  • You have past experience in team management & supplier management is a plus.

    Recruitment process

  • A first interview by call with Lydia’s VP Credit ;

  • A written business case to submit within 7 days ;

  • A round of physical interviews with 3 Lydia Managers ;

  • Final round: Video Interview with the COO.
