At Luko, Lukooms’ forces are divided into 5 tribes, set up in a product-based organisation. Each tribe constitutes several cross-functional squads (product + engineering + design) and executes towards its own roadmap for customer and business impact.

User Acquisition tribe focuses on Luko’s growth via the acquisition of new customers

Moment of Truth tribe aims at delighting our users throughout the whole life of their contract - claims included

New Business tribe focuses on launching new products, services and markets

User Life tribe maximises customer touchpoints by creating engagement opportunities. They are a home care partner guiding customers to the right solution

Core Insurance tribe owns all the products and features in order to support Luko's Insurance activities, from regulation to tech

The Core Insurance tribe

As part of Core Insurance, you are responsible for delivering the best insurance products in the market, using the most efficient technology, data, pricing and underwriting. You will make sure that Luko is using a unique stack and always has a significant competitive advantage in its markets.

 

Your mission in the team:

Luko is looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager with experience working with core insurance software systems such as pricing, digital policy, risk carrying and more. 

You will be working on all systems either directly or through other technical product managers reporting to you. You will also drive the vision, strategy and roadmap to help the team design and build the best on the market core insurance systems to enable the insurance products and services we offer to hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries in France, Germany and Spain. 

Your responsibilities:
  • Own the vision and strategy of the Core Insurance products.
  • Define the roadmap, plan and deliver on it, defining new features to meet your internal customers’ needs.
  • Deep-dive into data and analyse the (expected) impact to prioritise the roadmap and determine success.
  • Anticipate challenges, make trade-offs, and balance business needs versus technical constraints.
  • Partner with other product managers, business line managers, underwriters and tribe leaders.
  • Align with stakeholders on what you will productise, build one time or push back for development to other services.
  • Contribute to a company-wide roadmap and planning.
  • Challenge the status-quo and offer new ideas to improve our core insurance products.
  • Work with the Core Insurance Tribe Lead and Engineering Manager to define OKRs, identify the best initiatives to achieve the OKRs and  and work with the team to get those done.
  • Manage other product managers and help them grow and deliver on their objectives.

 

    Who are you?
    • You have 4+ years of experience in product management and have successfully led product deliveries in an environment with multiple internal stakeholders
    • You have 1-2 years of experience in managing other product managers and helping them grow
    • You are comfortable with participating in technical discussions and you are able to prioritise between features, technical and operational improvements.
    • You are comfortable with working on highly complex system together with technical teams
    • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with many competing resource needs that you are able to effectively prioritise and use to design a state of the art systems.
    • You are at home with understanding when to build a one-time solution and when to productise it for multiple markets and customers.
    • You are able to synthesise information that helps you determine the impact and define the best possible feature.
    • You are impact-driven and used to working with hypothesises that help you drive the team and align on the expected outcome with stakeholders.
    Nice to have:
    • You have an experience with core insurance systems.
    • High-level understanding of software design practices and architectures
