    Founded in 2014, Ledger is a leader in security and infrastructure solutions for cryptocurrencies and blockchain applications. Headquartered in Paris with offices in Vierzon, London, New York and Singapore, Ledger’s team of 200 professionals develop a variety of products and services to safeguard digital critical assets for individuals and companies - including the Ledger hardware wallets line already in 165 countries. 

    Ledger Origin, a Ledger affiliate, brings the security and blockchain expertise Ledger is known for, to new application fields in IoT.  As an example:  certification of remotely collected data, using highly secure tools like embedded secure element (eSE) and hardware security module (HSM).

    Ledger Origin is looking for an experienced QA engineer to join its R&D team. The scope includes the automation of our test platforms, improving our toolchain, defining and executing the validation plans for our systems, analyzing our product behavior and participating in product release management. You will be working closely with hardware, firmware and software engineers to build efficient test procedures.

    We are a small multidisciplinary team working in a fast paced environment and we are looking for a highly responsible, rigorous, tech savvy person, with a hands-on problem solving attitude and a product-oriented mindset. You will be working with proprietary secure firmware, low-power consumption IoT devices, cloud services and smart-contract on blockchains. The core of our toolchain is written in embedded C and Python.

    Missions :

  • Define and execute the validation plans for our systems.
  • Automate our test procedures including hardware test benches and cloud services.
  • Reinforce QA expertise in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide thorough analysis of our system behavior and performances.
  • Improve our toolchain in collaboration with firmware and software engineers.
  • Participate in product release management.
  • Requirements and qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in manual and automated testing.
  • Autonomous and well organized.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively on your work.
  • Prior experience in functional, non-regression and technical (automation) testing.
  • Prior QA experience with hardware devices involved.
  • Technical understanding of hardware, firmware and software systems.
  • Fluent in at least one scripting language (Python, shell scripts).
  • Hands-on experience with test management tools (TestRail, Squash).
  • Interest in continuous integration and tools (Jenkins, CircleCi).
  • Proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team with hardware products.
  • Tech oriented, resourceful, open-minded and curious.
  • Nice to have / willingness to learn :

  • Hands-on experience with CI pipelines with embedded devices.
  • Prior experience in software development.
  • General knowledge or interest in cryptography and blockchain ecosystem.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing methodologies.
  • Interest in security and IoT devices.
