Your role 🎯

Le Wagon is now looking for an outstanding professional to join us as France GM. This is a vital leadership role that will help us accelerate the growth of our biggest market. The role will directly report to the COO.

Your responsibilities 🚀

As Le Wagon’s France GM, you will:

1. Manage a team of 5-6 city drivers and 5-6 function heads of Marketing/Admissions/Program Management/Funding/Partnerships (recruitment, onboarding, coaching, OKRs, performance reviews)
2. Challenge existing processes, optimize operations across cities through standardisation and centralisation (when possible), foster best practices across cities and with other regions
3. Ensure a first-class learning experience and the highest level of student satisfaction
4. Define and implement France’s expansion strategy (e.g. through opening of new cities, launching new products, new funding opportunities)
5. Proactively promote Le Wagon and increase public image (finding new partnerships, speaker at talks)
6. Ensure lobbying and networking with government
7. Deal with legal and financial matters
8. Liaise and report to C-team
9. Ensure successful implementation of bootcamps programs agreed with the nation-wide French B2B clients, in collaboration with Le Wagon for business

Skills 🏅

• ~10 years of experience
• Management experience
• Passion for tech
• Good communicator & networker, entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience in the French professional training sector / at Le Wagon is a plus
• Fluent in English. Additional European language is a plus.
