We are searching for a highly skilled Engine Programmer. You would be developing state-of-the-art systems for the new generation of the VRAGE engine being developed for a yet unannounced project. This new generation of VRAGE has been redesigned from scratch to be highly parallelized, data oriented, featuring a next generation voxel system, GPU driven pipeline and raytracing. You’ll be a part of the VRAGE team, working closely with the Game programmers and Designers to help them achieve the creative vision for our games.

Requirements:

Skilled and experienced programmer (5+ years)
At least 2 shipped titles
Proficient with Windows development
Knowledge of C# and C++ and their interoperability
Ability to apply results from low level performance and memory profiling
Start-to-finish development of key technologies for a “AAA” game
Intermediate English
Responsible, well organized, good time management
Friendly, curious, creative

Considered a plus:

University degree with a focus on computer science
Experience developing your own engine
Experience in designing and maintaining desktop applications
Experience with test driven development
Advanced math and physics knowledge
Interest in science and space research
Avid gamer
