As our UX / UI Designer, your first task will be researching, prototyping, iterating and producing complete finished designs for our mobile application. As such, we expect all applicants to have experience of mobile app design. You will be working on this task with the guidance of our product manager, to deliver an exceptional mobile shopping experience fit for 2021.
Beyond the app, you will help to develop the look and feel of the Kazidomi digital experience and evolve our brand identity. You’ll focus on understanding our customers, continuously improving the Kazidomi user experience, and designing new features/functionality across our desktop and mobile platforms. As part of our Product team, you will partner with our Product Manager to shape concepts, execute iterative designs from wireframes and flows to high fidelity final designs with stunning UI. Your own ideas for projects will also be encouraged and you will have a significant impact on how customers experience Kazidomi.
The ideal candidate has significant work experience as a lead designer both for mobile applications and responsive web design, with a good understanding of e-commerce. Requirements include a passion for designing delightful and innovative user experiences; a deep interest in healthy living; and an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a high bar for excellence. Kazidomi is a fast-growing and young brand.
Your responsibilities will be:
Lead design for native app and adaptive web features across mobile, desktop, and tabletCreate iterative design documentation including user journey flows, wireframes, visual designs, and detailed specifications of behaviors and design implementation
Create prototypes and testing materialsBake user delight into every customer journey
Participate in user research activities such as interviews, usability testing, etc.Use research data (from usability studies, surveys, interviews, etc.) and usage metrics to inform design choices
