Contexte

Today, asset managers have different levels of needs, for which impak can be their preferred partner:

  • to have access to high-quality SDG and impact data;
  • to automate their impact reporting;
  • to meet their regulatory reporting requirements (SFDR, EU Taxonomy, etc.).

impak is therefore looking to increase its sales force with a new Business Developer.

The Business Developer is responsible for Asset Managers sales, co-developing and executing on the sales strategy. The role entails sales activities such as marketing, educating, positioning and assisting the Sales Team in the sales strategy deployment and team organization. The Business Developer will act as a subject matter expert for asset managers. This role is highly visible internally and externally, with involvement in all aspects of sales.

Your mission

  • Prospect identification and contact
  • Lead sales calls, follow ups and drive the sales process forward, including in-depth discussions * regarding the products and impak’s methodology
  • Participation to industry events and marketing initiatives including speaking opportunities
  • Proposal building, contract negotiation and closing
  • Manage product set up and delivery in collaboration with operations team and client

Profil recherché

If you have

  • A bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of successful track record in a revenue generation role, preferably within the financial industry and / or within impact / ESG
  • Experience with the Asset Management industry in Europe and the use of ESG / impact data

And if you are characterized by

  • A proactive attitude and a strong capacity for autonomy and getting your hands dirty;
  • Good sense of initiative, proactivity and intellectual curiosity;
  • Strong presentation, strategic thinking, interpersonal, negotiation and closing skills;
  • An ability to stay on top of evolving Index market trends with desire to continually learn;
  • An ability to work in a changing/constructing environment;
  • A good ability to work in a highly team-oriented and collaborative environment.
