The role

We are looking for a strong thought leader, to spearhead our brand marketing and communication function. In this key role, you report to the Managing Director and you lead and grow a team of 3, with 2 direct reports (Brand & Comms manager, Associate PR). As Head of Digital Brand Content, your role is to grow the HelloFresh brand in France to the next level, into a strong and unique brand that consumers associate with and love deerly. While you will start as an individual contributor and be hands-on on some topics, you will need to grow and shape the team to make sure our set up is adapted for our big ambitions and plans.

What you will be doing:

  • Overall ownership of a large and growing brand marketing budget, which includes ATL media, PR, comms and brand campaigns. This includes ownership over budget / strategic planning cycles, scenario planning, presenting recommendations and idea sourcing.
  • Drive our strategic brand planning, including data analysis, market research and consumer insights; working hand in hand with our Global brand team in Berlin on major projects making sure that they understand the French market and consumer
  • Deep-dive in our brand metrics and survey results; deriving data-driven insights and driving any required adjustments in our brand positioning and comms strategy. To do this, you leverage our existing global frameworks / learnings from other markets.
  • Analyse in detail our campaign and channel results; generate actionable insights and optimise by moving our resources where there is most leverage.
  • Drive long-term pipeline for Brand Function, such as new comms/PR concepts, brand partnerships and top-funnel media diversification.
  • Manage the planning and production of brand campaigns, managing numerous stakeholders and ensuring we deliver a quality output within the deadline and budget.
  • Create a positive, engaging and dynamic work environment for the brand team.
  • Leverage our global team and collaborate with HQ experts and other markets to derive initiatives to continuously improve our brand strategy.

What we are looking for :

  • 5-7 years experience in either/mix of leading brand (and potentially PR) in a B2C scale up/eCommerce brand and top creative agency
  • Brand mindset: you are passionate about brands, consumer psychology and marketing
  • Leadership: you are able to rally teams around common objectives and set up teams for success while still maintaining a hands-on mentality
  • Strong analytical mindset: you are great with numbers and work in a systematic and logical way
  • A great personality with strong people and communication skills
  • Ability to manage and juggle multiple projects and proven management skills
  • Ability to work through tough problems with a rigorous and pragmatic approach
  • Growth mindset and a“learning never stops” attitude
  • Autonomous, organised, proactive and adaptable
  • Fluency in English and French - both written and spoken
