Role Overview

The role of Innovation and Product Development is a global leadership position for Biostime, H&H Group’s lead brand for Infant Milks (IMF) and Infant and Children Supplements. You will be responsible for the product and technology development for Biostime IMF and Biostime nutritional and probiotic supplements and will work directly with the local and global Marketing teams in France, Australia, US and Asia. Focus will be on Innovation for France, together with other international regions Australia, Asia and US. Furthermore you will closely collaborate with our R&D teams in China, Ireland and Switzerland and form strong partnership with our dairy partners and contract manufacturers in Europe.

You are a strong technologist, curious and with creative mindset that is able to translate ingredients and technology into innovative and high quality products. You are hands-on and can thrive in solving technological product formulation and process challenges and are proactive in identifying potential improvements. You are a strong and experience people leader who is able to also manage remote team members.

You will be member of the H&H Group R&D Leadership team.

Mission Purpose
o To co-develop Innovation Strategies and New Product Pipelines together with Research and Marketing teams and developm and deliver new products for our French and International markets.
o Work closely with our Quality, Sourcing and Manufacturing teams, as well as our external partners, in the execution, implementation and delivery of projects.
o Together with your Product & Technology Development team based in Ireland, you will research, pilot and develop new ingredients and processing technologies that will fuel our innovation pipelines and continuously improve the performance, packaging, consumer experience and sustainability of our products.
o Ensure IMF sector and dairy technology knowledge, market and practices intelligence.
o Set up KPIs related to the category.
o Ongoing review of processes and the potential for improvement.
o Manage different projects as required by the business.
o Communicate clearly and in advance the identified sensitive points and propose solutions / alternatives.
o Continually analyzes and assess personal performance and discuss via key accountabilities with managers at regular performance appraisal meetings.
o Show initiative in maintaining a happy, positive work environment.
o Successful people manager, and being able to manage remote team members.


Požadavky na pozici

o A thorough understanding, experience and professional network in dairy technology is required and knowledge of infant milk formulas (R&D, product development, formulation, process etc.) and probiotics is a must have.
o Experience in New Product Development and Innovation in industry is required.
o Post-graduate qualifications desirable
o International quality experience is considered an advantage.
o Good background in cross-cultural communications and management.
