Software Engineer Intern (AI team)

Gleamer’s mission is to improve the standard of care for patients around the world. We build medical products to tackle a large range of clinical problems for a wide variety of populations. For each of these medical contexts we want to deliver the best possible product. Therefore, we are constantly monitoring an extensive set of clinical metrics which indicate the performance of our solution. Most importantly, these quantities need to be quickly and easily accessible to everyone from our AI, Regulatory, Clinical, Medical and Marketing teams.

To answer that need, we want you to join us to build an app, backend and frontend, that will empower everyone at Gleamer with access to any clinical metric from any of our algorithms computed on any population.

You will be part of the AI team and work in close collaboration with one of our AI engineers. Additionally, you will learn and get continuous support from our software team to help you design your app. The app will be developed in python and leverage our metrics computation codebase.

After the internship, provided that Gleamer and you are a good match, you will be offered a full-time position as a python software engineer in the AI team.

• Research the best tools/frameworks for your app (e.g. Dash)
• Build an MVP version
• Build the CI/CD and deploy your app
• Extend the MVP with additional features

• Education in the field of computer science
• Experience as a software developer in a professional environment
• Excellent skills in python
• Experience with python frontend tools is a plus.
• Education in the field of machine learning, computer science, statistics and/or mathematics is a plus
• Analytical mindset
• Good communication skills
• Passionate about medical applications of AI

You should be available for a full-time position after the internship. On-site presence is required, at least during the first months of the internship.
