Our Engineering team is divided in three Tribes and several squads.
As a backend intern at GitGuardian, you will help us develop a developer-first cybersecurity solution that protects the open source community against hackers and makes it a robust, scalable and globally trusted product!
You will help our team build a set of tools that scan GitHub public activity and git private repositories.
By joining our tech team, you will :
Build and improve code, for new and existing products;
Benefit from working closely with other highly-skilled developers that provides feedback and helps you develop your skills;
Enjoy working with good practices, in an agile methodology with your Product Manager and your Lead Developer on 2 weeks sprints releases;
Maintaining and ensuring an excellent quality of developed code with a product oriented mindset;
Collaborate in technical reviews to strengthen our architecture and system designs;
Participating in the growth of our technical teams. We are growing from 40 to 70 developers in 2023. This position might lead to a full time working contract!

You are looking for a 6 months internship, preferably at the end of your studies (to get hired at the end of your internship).
You are currently enrolled in a Computer Science degree in a top Engineering School.
You have a first experience (internship, freelance, school projects) in web software development, using Python & Django.
Bonus points
You know how to set up a development environment with Docker.
You don’t embed API keys in your code ;-)
You have a first experience as an intern in a startup environment
