🌍 Currently present in 4 countries in Europe (France, Germany, Belgium, Austria) Farmitoo wants to become the reference platform for all European farmers (cereal farmers, breeders, wine growers, …).
By giving access to numerous product references whose prices are directly negotiated with the manufacturers, by guiding farmers in their purchases, by offering payment facilities or by making donations to associations supporting the agricultural sector, Farmitoo’s main mission is to help and give back purchasing power to farmers!

Job description

Your mission: to create partnerships with German manufacturers of agricultural equipment and to expand the product range on Farmitoo.

As a Business Development Representative for the German market, you will report directly to the Head of Sales and work in close contact with colleagues in an international, motivated and ambitious team: the Farmitoo sales team!

You are responsible for attracting new high potential partners - from acquisition to closing the deal

Your main tasks

  • Prospecting manufacturers of agricultural equipment: Identify future high potential partners
  • Pre-qualify leads in your CRM
  • Establish first contact with your prospects (cold calling/ cold mailing)
  • Negotiate the best possible conditions
  • Closing: signing the contract and collecting the necessary information for the integration of new products

Your daily routine

  • Finding, contacting and negotiating with new partners
  • Working in an international and dynamic environment
  • Working with the different departments of the company (customer service, product integration, account management…)

Preferred experience

Required for this position

  • You already have experience in business development or sales (even an internship)
  • You speak German on native speaker level & are fluent in English
  • You have natural negotiation skills and strong persuasive powers
  • You like challenges and are a persistent worker
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills
  • You enjoy dealing with people on a daily basis, whether on the phone, by e-mail or in meetings
  • You are conscientious, autonomous and well organised
  • You fully adhere to our values!

How to stand out

  • You have a degree in business administration
  • You are curious and want to discover the work in a start-up
  • You know how to create convincing sales documents (presentations, Linkedin messages, cold mailing)
  • You are confident on the phone and in your emails (spelling, grammar)
  • You know how to work with a CRM and how to maintain it conscientiously
  • You have a good knowledge of French
  • You like to work in a team
  • You want to have a positive influence on the agricultural sector and you are interested in this sector
