Dog Chef is a fresh pet food company that cooks personalized healthy meals for dogs, ordered online & delivered at home.
The Fresh Pet Food market is rapidly growing, Dog Chef is well-positioned to attack this untouched market thanks to its broad range of products, its own production facility, its own delivery fleet, and its extensive veterinary network.
Every month, the pack prepares and ships more than 500k meals for thousands of happy dogs in France, Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg and plan to grow our customer base aggressively in the coming years (with the opening of Germany).

In order to support our strong growth, we are looking for a freelance Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist who will be responsible for managing, testing and implementing conversion points in the marketing funnel and Dog Chef website.

Your Mission within the Pack 🎯

We have finalized our Series A and have raised 12,5m€ last summer. We are moving from the start-up phase to the scale-up phase and are building our digital muscle to become the leader in Fresh Pet Food in Europe.

We are looking for a Conversion Rate Optimization Specialist with the following responsibilities :

50% Optimisation of Conversion Rate

• Implementing & influencing a conversion optimisation roadmap across the website, landing pages,…. to maximise marketing & customer KPIs
• Managing key conversion points in the marketing funnel
• Increasing conversion rates
• Driving a test and learning (A/B & multivariate) programme using personalization & testing tools to ensure continuous measurable results.
• Analysing and working with marketing colleagues to optimise marketing channel conversion & improving on-site marketing funnel KPI’s such as CTR, page view rates, …
• Collaborating with people responsible for channels, content, email, social media, in order to optimize each conversion path

50% Website Owner

• Managing and optimizing input for landing pages, website calls-to-action (CTAs), etc.
• UX & data-driven input for web design & functionalities

Pedigee requirements 🏅

• You have experience in Conversion rate optimisation & web analytics (5+ years in digital marketing/e-commerce)
• Experience in optimizing a shopping cart flow (e-commerce) is a strong plus.
• You are data-driven & have a process-oriented mindset, but you are also detail-oriented.
• You have project planning and organizational skills.
• You are a teamplayer with good communication & coordination skills.
• You have an experimentation/fail-fast mindset and you are a real problem solver.
• You have advanced knowledge of Google Analytics or other web analytics
• You have general knowledge of statistical concepts
• Fluent French (both written and spoken) and English or Dutch
