As part of the Operational Performance team, you will work with fellow data analysts, data scientists, user researchers, product managers, marketing specialists and commercial stakeholders to optimise journeys and drive users and revenue growth.

You will work closely with the Customer & Monetization team, whose focus is to optimise our acquisition & conversion journeys to boost our growth. Your objective will be to drive insightful analysis, create dashboards, propose A/B tests & analyse them in order to improve our journeys (visit to registration, registration to payment) and make sure we communicate the right offer to the right user at the right moment.

Data analysts at Deezer have a key role to elevate data culture and to make sure any strategic decision is based on the right data-driven insights :

  • They identify problems and implement solutions based on data that will fuel Deezer’s growth
  • They shape data-informed product and business strategies
  • They communicate results and influence key business and product leaders

They keep an open and growth mindset in order to continuously develop new methodologies, analytical skills and business acumen. 

What you will do:

  • Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to understand their vision and challenges
  • Conduct data-driven and product-oriented analyses to build product and business recommendations that help stakeholders make the right decisions (Ex : is the free funnel an efficient driver of paying subscribers ? How do we boost our free audience monetization?)
  • Run A/B tests to statistically assess the impact of an initiative (product change, user segmentation, CRM campaign, conversion / upsell entry point…)
  • Translate large, complex datasets into well-structured and insightful analyses
  • Build your own data pipelines: from the logs to the final dataset using python, sql, spark
  • Design, build and maintain data visualisations and dashboards to make product usage data accessible, and easily understandable
  • Collaborate closely with Data Science and User Research teams.

Požadavky na pozici

The role is excellent for a person with:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar or other relevant position solving complex data problems, ideally with experience on subscription-based models and acquisition funnels
  • Proficient in SQL or equivalent
  • Data Visualisation skills (e.g. Tableau)
  • Tenacious: being ready to tackle complex problems with insights and analyses, at the crossroads of tech, product and business
  • High standards: curious, rigorous, structured, high attention to detail and business-oriented
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Fluent in English
