With only an office in Sydney but people spread across Australia, New Zealand and Europe, a large part of our team members work 100% remotely.
When onboarding staff we provide all of their IT equipment and use Microsoft Teams to conduct video calls. Our Technology & Security and Product & Engineering teams conduct daily stand-ups, and our managers have monthly 1:1s with their team members.
We don't have a specific budget for remote benefits however we are always happy to receive adhoc requests from our team members which further supports their health and wellbeing while working from home.
We also have at least two team building activities each year where we fly the teams in to either Australia or Europe so people can better build rapport in person.
of our team work under a hybrid model where they can work from the office or at home. We do not dictate how many days people must work in the office, or which days. They choose what is best for their and their personal lives.
We are very proud of the office in Sydney. The desks are open plan and not allocated so anyone can sit anywhere. We also have well planned meeting spaces and what we call the Daltrey Arena which is our recreation spaces so we can enjoy breakfast together, do some gaming and enjoy a match of ping pong.
The location of the office is very close to Sydney's most famous landmarks, the Harbour Bridge and Opera house. Many of our team members enjoy a walk or run around the city during their lunch breaks.
