Context:

Inside D-EDGE, TARS is the Central Reservation System that connect all Accor hotels to the guests, its role is to update and maintain information of a hotel pertaining to inventory and rates so that hotels are able to manage guest reservations and the process around such reservations in real time.
These reservations are managed across a multitude of distribution channels such as the 3rd party booking websites (booking.com, expedia.com, etc), direct internet booking engines (all.com), the global distribution system (GDS), wholesalers and more.
To do that every day we push:

  • +70 millions prices updates
  • +180 millions planning updates

And we answer to more than 200 million availability requests under 100ms on average
In return we collect between 350.000 and 450.000 bookings that we transmit to the hotel’s PMS (Property Management System).

About the Team:

The Hotel Portal & Content team is responsible for the back office tools for hotel and central users. These applications allow them to update descriptive data (hotel services) and business data (prices, planning and sales conditions).

As part of a multidisciplinary team working in agile mode (3-week sprints), the Proxy Product Owner will be working on the FASTCOM application, a solution that validates post-departure reservations in order to validate the payment of commissions to distribution partners.

Role :

The successful candidate will have good communication skills and will liaise with the Accor product owner, the developers and the testers, whom he/she may deputise for if necessary. He/she will write user stories to detail the features to be developed.

He/she will work with the product owner on monitoring and prioritisation, whether it be on production anomalies or new features.

Missions:

  • Participate in the preliminary study phase of projects: analysis of existing operations, impacts and costing in collaboration with the team
  • Write the detailed functional specifications (User Story)
  • Present the evolutions to the acceptance team, possibly participate in the acceptance phase and functionally qualify the anomalies
  • Present the evolutions to the development team and be in support
  • You will also be responsible for the development of the software and for the implementation of the software development process, including the development of the software itself.
  • You will also be responsible for the development of the project and the implementation of the project’s strategy.

Požadavky na pozici

  • More than 3 years experience in similar missions (AMOA type).
  • The candidate will have a good understanding of the different actors and components (technical and functional) of an IT system
  • Experience in writing deliverables: impact study and analysis, specifications, CR.
  • You will have a good understanding of the technical exchanges between components (xml, webservices…)
  • You will be able to work in a team environment and be able to work in a team environment, with the ability to work in a team environment and be able to work in a team environment.
