The mission

The position is based in Paris, and directly attached to the company’s top-management. We’re looking for an experienced professional able to drive all administrative, legal, social and financial aspects of our French business. The position will require frequent interaction with the French CEO (located in Paris), as well as with the Group’s financial team (located in Berlin). The position will get you involved in many strategic discussions, and will offer a unique opportunity to supplement your skill-set by acquiring a broad view of a digital business!

What you’ll be doing!

Given the versatility of tasks described above, we’re looking for an all-rounder financial & admin profile, with an entrepreneurial mindset to assist Management:

You’re able to build complex business plans, multi-lines budgets or financial forecasts, and bring a financial eye to the discussion by challenging Management on figures, ratios, consistency of the various hypothesis, etc.
You have an acute eye for numbers, handle multiple data-sets with ease, and are able to build Financial Controlling processes to feed management with actionable insights;
You are comfortable with most classic legal concepts, and are therefore able to interact with lawyers and experts on these matters;
You have a fair understanding of French social & labour law, employment-related matters, hiring-firing and HR topics in general (recruiting, work contracts, convention collective, social obligations of the employer). You’re not necessarily an expert yourself, but you’re able to speak the language of lawyers and specialized counsels, so as to derive clear recommendations for decisions.
You’re a master of self-organization and are able to conduct a myriad of simultaneous tasks without missing deadlines;
You’re quick and efficient at getting things done yourself.
You’re able to work fluently in French and English, German being a plus but not required.
Of course a relevant academic education will help… but we’ll focus mostly on your achievements and current abilities!
Qualifications
Given the profile, we think several experiences can be relevant to be successful in that position:

A solid background of 4-7 years in Audit, coupled with a desire to quickly supplement your skill-set with other aspects;
A solid experience with Internal Audit, Financial Controlling, Budgetting Department, etc. in large corporation, which you would like to leave for the startup experience!
A first successful experience as a « RAF » in a small- to mid-size company or startup;
An entrepreneurial experience which brought you a very diverse knowledge about how to run a company
