👉 Context :

Our sales team is growing and we are looking for our future Business Development Representative (bilingual in English / mother tongue)! 👋

The Business Development Representative will be part of the Batch Sales team. This team has already signed over 500 blue chip accounts in France and Europe and wants to sign 5,000 more! Come and be a part of this elite team and play a key role in helping them achieve this objective 🔥🔥🔥

You will be part of the BDR team, managed by Clément, and you will work on a daily basis with James.

Your goal is to generate the maximum relevant sales opportunities for the Key Account Manager thanks to your ability to recognize, identify and engage new customers.


👉 Details of the role :

  • Identify potential customers and understand their current situation: company structure, financial data, sales strategy and any MarTech that they are currently using in order to set things up for the initial contact.
  • Identify the various decision-makers and prepare a personalised approach for each new customer.
  • Make initial contact with these new customers.
  • Sow the seeds to create interest.
  • Manage and follow up each account and customer.
  • Systematically follow up each customer; follow the sales script for each opportunity.
  • Guide the customer through the Batch services and provide all the information to answer every question; explain how Batch’s proposals meet the customer’s business needs - keep them keen!
  • Prepare the customer for the follow up meeting with the Key Account Executive; ensure the handover takes place under the best possible conditions.
  • Arrange the customer meeting and support the Key Account Executive throughout the pre-Sales phase.
  • Ring the bell when the deal is closed :) 🚀


👉 Preferred experience :

  • You are curious, rigorous and independent and you are made for a career in Sales
  • A first sales experience in SaaS and/or MarTech desirable
  • You are passionate about digital and always learning new Sales techniques.
  • Customer relationships are your thing.
  • The ideal candidate will already have experience (or an internship) in digital industry and is looking to consolidate their skills and develop further.
  • You have an experience in prospecting the UK market
  • English : bilingual or mother tongue


👉 Recruitment process :

Batch follows the same procedure for all its interviews with 4 simple and clear steps for each candidate:

  • Initial call and introduction (15 to 30 minutes).
  • Face-to-face interview with HR and the relevant Team Leader (45 minutes).
  • Conduct and complete a case study, in person or remotely, presenting to 4 or 5 Batch employees.
  • Meeting with one of the Batch founders (30 to 45 minutes).

At the end of this 4-step process, Batch will make a job offer to the successful candidate.
