Job description

To reinforce the Training Team at Ami, the brand is seeking a Retail Trainer to increase the business performance and elevate the client experience within our retail network (specifically Europe). Reporting to the Retail Training Manager, this role is based in Paris with frequent travel. The ideal candidate should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, be proactive, resourceful, possess high level of listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities : 

  • Deliver effective in-person (remote occasionally) training programs relating to brand knowledge, collections, selling ceremony, etc.
  • Conduct induction with new joiners and work with Store Managers to ensure smooth onboarding journey.
  • Conduct in store coaching to retail team to ensure high standards of customer service and brand/product knowledge to help retail teams to meet their objectives.
  • Support Store Managers in building individual coaching plans after performing analysis of their teams.
  • Develop training contents and tools, especially regarding selling and softs skills and client experience.
  • Adapt/update existing training contents as needed.
  • Prepare training materials necessary for the respective training programs.
  • Conduct follow-ups post training with participants and identify training needs.

Preferred experience

  • 3-5 Years of Training experience in a retail environment (sales experience valued).
  • Passionate about fashion and the luxury business, avid follower of industry news.
  • Experience in facilitating both technical and soft skills training.
  • Confident with PowerPoint and digital training tools and environments
  • Ability to travel to support needs of the Ami retail business and training priorities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong presentation, organization and interpersonal skills
