Job summary
Global Accounts Manager - Industrial Manufacturing

AWS is seeking an expert in manufacturing and industrial (discrete manufacturing and/or process industries) world-class professional to manage our global customer relationship with some of the largest companies in the world.
The Account Manager will be responsible for providing global business leadership and (co)management of one global accounts. You will build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects and engage virtual resources. You will define a CxO relationship strategy within the account, including engaging with AWS senior leadership team for executive sponsorships, coordinating executive business reviews, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

  • The Account Manager is responsible for teaming with the customer’s manufacturing experts - on the shop floor in engineering& design and production. In addition, the AM must team with the IT Organization within the customers business units to build strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear vision and generating enthusiasm, while impacting the business groups. They are responsible for working at the most strategic level within the account and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation. The AM will work with all appropriate
  • AWS resources (Executives, Solution Architects, Business Development, Marketing, Partners, Support, Service teams and Professional Services) to support customer interests. This may include dotted line responsibility.
  • Development of formal case studies and other forms of references highlighting activity and workloads running on AWS is core to the role.

Key job responsibilities
The Global Account Manager is responsible for building strategic relationships across the account, articulating a clear long term vision for a joint and close collaboration. The Global Account Manager is responsible for selling at the most strategic level within the account (production, operation and business strategy for industrial manufacturing) and implementing a broad strategy for earning customer acceptance and service implementation.
The responsibility covers the account globally. The AM must coordinate a global sales, BD and support organization to support the account.

The Global Account Manager will be part of a global, high-performing team within the Industrial Manufacturing (IM) Industry Business Unit at AWS.


Požadavky na pozici

  • the candidate must have experience working for or with a large organization in the Industrial manufacturing vertical, whether discrete manufacturing, or process industries
  • the candidate must have experience as lead Account and Relationship Manager
  • the candidate should have experience in production and operations with a combination of IT; experience in both "worlds": IT and OT is a huge bonus
  • Experience of working and selling to C-Level Executives within Global or Enterprise Clients
  • Proven track record of managing multiple innovation projects within operations or production including IT/OT, preferably Cloud or hosted IaaS.
  • Experience of leading virtual sales and technical delivery teams
  • Demonstrated decision making, and negotiating skills.
  • Experience in working in Global Teams
