Akur8 is looking for a Marketing Manager for the US market, to join our Marketing team to support our growth by taking full ownership of major marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Akur8’s ambition is to become the global leader in insurance pricing, with the US market as our top priority. Our marketing efforts are directed towards becoming the top of mind reference in non-life insurance pricing.

To serve this objective, we are focused on growing our brand in the U.S. and increasing Akur8’s presence and visibility within the insurance pricing community through marketing campaigns, thought leadership, PR, industry publications, partnerships, insurance and actuarial associations, industry events and other marketing activities.

As a highly organized, proactive and driven individual, your role will be to oversee and manage the execution of these large-scale initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

Manage Akur8’s digital marketing campaigns and initiatives

  • Oversee and project manage multi-channel marketing initiatives and campaigns
  • Write appropriate marketing and product content specific to different marketing channels
  • Ongoing review of existing and new content to ensure it is appropriate for the U.S. market
  • Grow Akur8’s media/PR presence in the U.S. through press releases, new articles and ongoing content creation
  • Continually and actively identify content opportunities with industry publications
  • Create social media content and update shared social media calendar
  • Identify trends and insights to optimize initiatives and related spend
  • Monitor performance of digital marketing initiatives
  • Update internal marketing calendar
  • Track competitors
  • Identify and execute on new areas of digital marketing growth

Adapt marketing content to US market needs and develop new content as needed

  • Product brochures
  • White papers and thought leadership
  • Digital and web content
  • Event booths and speaker/topic descriptions
  • Marketing visuals, etc.

Manage and coordinate events to support the Sales team

  • Review and select most relevant events working closely with sales team
  • Execute on Akur8’s US event marketing strategy
  • Project plan and monitor event progress to ensure all deadlines are met
  • Manage event logistics
    • Sponsorship package requirements
    • Setup and booth creation
    • Coordination of participants and speakers
    • Coordination of merchandise and contests (print assets, give-aways, etc.)
  • Attend most events and manage onsite
  • Manage event-related reporting and KPIs
  • Research, recommend and expand Akur8’s participation in externally organized industry events
  • Introduce, promote and manage Akur8 specific events and webinars on insurance-related topics

Important : You will be based in our New York office, but traveling frequently for events.

Requirements

We're looking for an experienced professional looking for challenges in a fast moving organization:

  • You have 3-4 years of experience in B2B Marketing in the Tech industry (Fintech/Insurtech experience is definitely a plus)
  • You have managed large marketing projects in the past
  • You have experience writing and reviewing content across marketing disciplines
  • You have experience managing internal and external events.
  • You are looking for an operational marketing role in a fast growing tech startup
  • You are very organized and are able to efficiently multi-task and project-manage
  • You are autonomous, proactive, eager to learn and to assume responsibility for key initiatives.
  • You are a team player and are happy to collaborate with multiple teams and stakeholders, both external and internal
  • You have ideally worked in international settings
  • You have excellent written and oral communication skills in English
  • In the international context of the company, any additional languages are a definite bonus
