The position

Job description

As CodinGame’s Product Marketing Manager, you will represent the voice of our customers, ensuring their understanding of our product value, awareness of new products and features, maximizing adoption levels and ultimately upselling opportunities and retention.

You should be equally comfortable with thinking strategically and rolling up your sleeves in support of your position’s responsibilities. You have a proven ability to drive cross-functional teams across Product, Marketing and Sales. You will also work closely with your counterpart at CoderPad (based in the US), ensuring that messaging and sales enablement are consistent across both teams.

Your missions:

PRODUCT LAUNCH & ADOPTION

  • Improve our product launch process for new features/products – creating a detailed plan which outlines all the steps needed to successfully launch, along with a clear launch tiering strategy.
  • Create quarterly programs to drive adoption of key products/features and revenue for different customer segments.
  • Animate a community of B2B customers aimed at increasing customer satisfaction, upselling opportunities and account retention.

MARKET STRATEGY

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our buyers, the competitive landscape, and our position in the market.
  • Conduct customer interviews, feeding both our Content Marketing team with testimonials, and our Product team with usage feedback.
  • Conduct ongoing win-loss analysis, and ensure tight feedback loop to Product, Growth and Sales Teams to help drive prioritization decisions.

PRICING, PACKAGING & POSITIONING

  • Determine packaging and pricing across products and segments; run pricing/packaging tests in partnership with our Growth and Sales teams.
  • Determine positioning from a deep knowledge of the competition, and highlight our strong competitive differentiators.
  • Own the internal messaging and ensure that all client facing assets (website, collateral, FAQs) adhere to the our messaging guidelines.

SALES ENABLEMENT

  • Develop product training materials and roll out to Sales.
  • Ensure product marketing consistency with your counterpart at CoderPad, so that both Sales at CodinGame and CoderPad have the same level of actionable knowledge.
  • Create, maintain and manage sales assets that help grow revenue, from onboarding to account expansion.

Preferred experience

As a team, we view each person’s contribution as irreplaceable. We believe that great things cannot be accomplished without great people. We are looking for creative, adventurous, ego-free people who want to be part of a collective adventure. We would like you to come as you are—with your own talent, personality, strengths and weaknesses.

You are:

  • 3 to 5 years of product marketing experience in a SaaS / scaling tech start-up.
  • Experience in HRtech (or interest for the tech hiring industry).
  • Data-driven approach to gathering customer and market insights.
  • Experience with in-app onboarding tools and testing.
  • Experience with product-led growth.
  • Proven leadership in cross-functional teams.
  • A self-starter with an ability to build programs from scratch: you have a positive attitude and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills, ideally a native speaker. French is a plus.
  • Prior experience with North American teams preferred.
  • MBA preferred (or alternative experience driving pricing strategy).
  • Product Marketing Alliance certified preferred (or other product marketing certifications).
